Say Hello to Jake, the Newest Member of our NewTV Team!

Jake Klinzing may be a native of the Greater Boston area, but he has a wide range of experience from coast-to-coast (literally). Jake first ventured away from his hometown in Lexington when he attended American University in Washington, DC. In 2019, he graduated with a degree in Political Science.

Jake is living proof that what you study in college doesn't determine your career path. He had an interest in production and soon found a job working for a kids' gameshow called KC! Pop Quiz all the way in LA-LA Land. In his own time, Jake taught himself how to edit, and was promoted from Production Assistant to Assistant Editor. His editing skills then took him to Majordomo Media, the production company of celebrity chef Dave Chang.

At the end of 2023, Jake moved back to Lexington, where he traded the Hollywood life for a career in Community Media at LexMedia, Lexington's community media center. He loves using his production skills to create quality content that will inform, educate, and serve the members of his community. Jake made the jump to NewTV because he wanted to work with a larger team, providing more opportunities to hone his skills and grow as a professional.

When he's not behind the camera or editing, you can find Jake... behind the camera or editing. He does some freelance production work in his spare time and enjoys putting together music videos. He's also an artist, a movie buff, a video game enthusiast, and - perhaps most importantly - a cat dad.

We are so happy to have Jake on our team as Media Production Manager, where he'll be overseeing the productions for all 3 of our channels. We can't wait to see how his diverse experiences will help us continue to produce great content!
