NewTV is an Emmy Award-winning Community Media center, funded primarily by a surcharge added to the cable bills of local subscribers. As Newton's cable subscription numbers dwindle, so do the financial resources available to NewTV.

Our school-to-work program allows local high school students to gain valuable real world production experience, while participating in their school's A/V Club.

Area college students studying Communications or Journalism can apply for our Newton News internship program and Lipof Fellowship. Over 100 former interns have successful careers in broadcast journalism.
Without proper funding, NewTV loses its ability to provide these (and more) essential programs and services.
