Craft a felted sunflower hoop at the Newton Free Library on Tuesday, August 4 at 6:30pm. Create a cheerful sunflower that never wilts in this beginner-friendly needle felting class! Using loose wool fibers and a barbed needle, you’ll learn how to “paint” with wool by felting directly onto fabric stretched in an embroidery hoop. Layer rich yellows, warm browns, and leafy greens to bring your sunflower to life. The finished piece is a beautiful handmade decoration—ready to hang and brighten any space.
