Community Media Day 2024
Updated: Mar 24, 2025
Today is Community Media Day 2024!
Community Media Day is an annual celebration that brings awareness to the importance of free speech and accessible media for all.
Each year on October 20, the Massachusetts governor issues a proclamation officially declaring the day to be Community Media Day in Massachusetts. This year, though, Governor Maura Healey went a step further and created a video message highlighting the importance of community media centers in Massachusetts and beyond.
NewTV was proud to play Governor Healey's message at the MassAccess Fall Meet & Greet hosted at our studio in Newton. A representative from the governor's office presented the official proclamation to Katie Duval, MassAccess Vice President and Executive Director of Medfield TV.
Community media plays a powerful role in strengthening our local communities. It protects our freedom of speech, promotes transparency within our local governments, provides access to local news and information not covered by mainstream media outlets, and fosters community education and engagement.
For more than 30 years, NewTV has proudly provided Newton with a platform where everyone can have their voices heard and stay connected to their community.

Buying event tickets through a secondary marketplace involves several details that are worth keeping organized, particularly when something changes after the purchase. For SeatGeek orders, having the confirmation number, event information, delivery method, and ticket details available can help clarify a question much faster. Issues involving mobile tickets, delivery timing, event changes, or refunds can depend on the specific order and the applicable terms. The https://seatgeek.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html page can be referenced when researching customer-service experiences and common questions connected with the platform. Keeping the original confirmation email and any messages related to the event is also a practical step if support needs additional information.
As the ball accelerates in Slope Game, the track can become harder to read and react to. Keeping your eyes on the next obstacle instead of only watching the ball can help you prepare earlier. Avoid panicking when the course suddenly changes direction. Controlled movements and consistent attention give you a better chance of navigating fast sections without losing your balance.
