Former US Representative Barney Frank passed away on Tuesday, May 19. Frank had entered into hospice care in Ogunquit, Maine for congestive heart failure on April 28, 2026 and died less than a month later at the age of 86. Frank was first elected into the Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional District in 1980 and chose not to seek re-election in 2012. We here at NewTV send our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
