Newton for Everyone invites you to a crucial discussion on the connection between housing and climate change on Wednesday, April 30th at 7pm at the Scandinavian Living Center. They will explore how strategic housing development can contribute to a more sustainable future for Newton by:

• Preserving trees, open spaces, and the natural environment
• Decreasing the carbon footprint
• Building a more sustainable and vibrant community
The featured speaker is long-time Newton resident Dan Ruben, a leading voice in sustainable practices. Dan teaches Sustainable Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism at several universities, including Boston University and the University of Southern Maine. Ruben has been instrumental in persuading developers to build Passive House, all-electric, low embodied carbon developments.
