Narratives of Change at Newton Free Library
November 19, 2025
Posted on

Stories shape the way we see the world—and each other. On Tuesday, December 2 at 6:30PM at the Newton Free Library, join FORJ (Families Organizing for Racial Justice) for a discussion that brings together middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults to explore the book "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas, and its movie adaptation. Together, participants will reflect, ask questions, and have honest conversations about race, justice, and community in a discussion facilitated by a Newton Free Library librarian and a racial justice dialogue facilitator from FORJ Newton North High School.

Please sign up to participate at NewtonFreeLibrary.net. You can request a copy of the book or film from the Library, as well.
