The Environmental Speaker Series, sponsored by Green Newton, is held monthly, January through June at the Newton Free Library. Series coordinator Ken Mallory presents an impressive line-up of local and nationally known speakers on a variety of environmental issues including global warming, toxic threats, alternative power sources such as solar and wind, organic gardening, sustainable building design and many others.
