By the time you read this, “Edit B” will have moved from one end of the station to the other – it’s now set up in a new console in the Conference Room. So, you’ll now need to book the “Conference Room” to use this linear editing equipment (SVHS/VHS; sound board, CD player, edit controller; no graphics currently,)
If you need to dub a tape or transfer source footage (SVHS, VHS, or Hi-8, ¾”), also book the “Conference Room”. We’ve set up a Hi-8 Player/Recorder, an SVHS/VHS Player/Recorder, a ¾” Player, and theTV set will Record or Play VHS. There are instructions attached to the rack – do a test tape first to make sure you’ve set up the system properly; see staff-on-duty if you have any problems.
Reminder: NewTV is NOT a dubbing facility, i.e., please don’t use this system to make multiple copies for distribution of your programs. This system is available for producers to make a home copy of their show & to dub source footage from one format to another. Thanks!
