As some viewers may have noticed, our program schedule is somewhat different today than it was six months ago. It has been changed to accommodate many new productions and to make the repeat times fair to all producers. We’ve been in the changeover process for about a year, and there are still a few small bugs to work out! We expect to have problem-free playback of all shows before too long. We ask your patience with this process.
Please contact the Programming Coordinator if you have any questions:You, too, can make a website - that's right! NewTV has a class in website building. If you want to develop a presence on the web for your show, this course will help you build, update, and maintain your site. We'll teach you what HTML is, what those tags are, and how to set up your site. We will even put a link to your site from the NewTV webpage.
In other news, keep your eyes on the Community Bulletin Board. NewTV volunteer, Ted Gross, has been helping prepare pages for this valuable community resource. If you'd like to make any comments, contact walts@newtv.org, or call: 965-7200 x11.
NEW TOY!!!We now have a "NewTV List Serve"! NewTV members can sign up by sending email to: lists@newtv.org and typing "subscribe member" in the body of the message, or by clicking here. We hope this listserve will stimulate conversations between NewTV members.
Recently we made a small change that some may have noticed. Previously, the NewTV "Community Partners" video and NewTV Disclaimer played at the beginning of each show for 1 minute. It now will play at the END of each show. What this means to the viewer (and producer) is this: All shows will start on the hour and half-hour, instead of one minute past these times. Remember, you can always check our web page (www.newtv.org) or the Newton Tab weekly newspaper for our current program schedule.
