Join our creative community and bring your vision to life.
At NewTV, the possibilities are endless.
As a member, you will have access to our state-of-the-art equipment and facility spaces to produce your own television show, film, podcast, and more.
You will also have the opportunity to advance your media production skills with our expert-led classes and grow your own crew of producers, directors, and other creatives from the community.
All new members are required to attend an orientation session before participating in classes and productions. Orientations are held on the first Monday of each month (or an individual basis).
Not a Newton resident? Not a problem! Individuals who live outside of Newton can join NewTV as a Supporter and take classes or volunteer on productions for just $40 per year.

Individual Membership
Annual Fee: $40
An Individual Membership is available to any resident of Newton. Membership includes:

Use of professional production studio, facilities, and equipment to produce and/or volunteer on television, podcast, or film productions

Receipt of weekly member newsletter containing exclusive updates and programming information

Inclusion in the Member Network at NewTV

Ability to distribute non-commercial programs on NewTV’s Community Channel

Access to classes and workshops
-
Receive technical advice from NewTV staff for project guidance and program production

Access to production assets through graphics and music libraries

One annual screening of a new series or specialty production in the Screening Room

Eligibility to vote at NewTV general membership meetings (one vote per individual member)

Supporter Membership
Annual Fee: $40
A Supporter Membership is available to people located inside and outside of Newton who would like to join as non-producing members. Membership includes:

NewTV Swag Kit as a thank you for supporting community media

Access to classes and workshops

Receipt of NewTV communications and programming information

Ability to volunteer on NewTV member productions
Supporters of NewTV may not sponsor a program for distribution on any of NewTV’s channels. Voting privileges are not available with this membership level.

Non-Profit Membership
Annual Fee: $150
A Non-Profit Organization Membership is available to any Newton-based non-profit organization and will receive all the privileges of an individual membership, except that only one vote may be cast per non-profit membership.
Non-profit organizations are eligible to receive training for up to four (4) employees and/or volunteers per membership each year with training for additional people available at an additional fee.
